Gregory Canyon is a place of cultural and spiritual importance for the Luiseño people, who live in San Diego County, CA. It is also a place that is slated to become a landfill. I have heard news about this project--and the resistance to it--for the last year or so. I recently came across Deborah Small's great blog, which gives some good background about this issue:
